Description

Description:

The I2C interface has many pins on the Arduino for additional features, fully linked with LCD1602 and LCD2004.

Up to 8 modules can be cascaded You can change the device address by short circuit A0/A1/A2. The default address is 0x27. Default address can be detected by programs.

This module uses PCF8574. This allows most MCUs to implement remote I/O port expansion via two two-way buses (I2C). This device includes an 8-bit semi-bi-directional port and I2C bus interface.

The contrast is adjustable, rotate the blue potentiometer clockwise to emphasize it and rotate counterclockwise to weaken. Backlight power control allows you to set whether to connect the backlight power via jumper cap.

On the original LCD1602/2004 screen, you need 7 IO ports to drive. This module only requires two IO ports to drive, so you can save 5 IO ports.
