The "wedge" is equipped with an ultra-high power boost mode called "THRO" (Temporary Heightened Regulated Output). The "THRO" features 1,000 lumens of light that you cant imagine from this slim light and electronic control to draw the maximum output of the light while preventing overheating damage to the LED element. The pocket clip can be changed to the mounting surface, so you can remove it from the pocket regardless of your hand or use the thumb. The switch is turned on with your thumb-forward push. If you turn it forward, it will enter "THRO" mode and boost up to 35 seconds. Repeat "THRO" mode while the LED temperature does not decrease and it will return to normal output in about 5 seconds for LED protection. Built-in lithium polymer battery charges in about 3 hours.
