The magnet at the tip collects sludge in the engine oil. These aluminum drain bolts are made of the highest grade aircraft aluminum 7075 material and are commercialized in the hardest aluminum alloy of JIS standards that have been treated with T6 heat treated.
Compared to aluminum alloy bolts made of 5056 materials in the market, the tensile strength is about 2 times stronger than carbon steel bolts. In addition, the finish is anodized, surface oxidation coating to prevent corrosion and give a beautiful luster.
