Description
The CENTER LOCK system makes it easier to install the rotor by using a spline mount or locking ring. Locking ring mounting system reduces total work time by reducing installation and removal. In addition, the spline mount ensures a secure hold, which increases precision and rigidity while improving braking efficiency.

Brake Rotor
Shimano ice technology disc brake rotors adopt three layers of stainless steel, aluminum and stainless steel for high heat dissipation.
Aluminum layer with fins increases surface area and promotes rotor heat dissipation
By improving the heat dissipation performance, the ice technology disc brake rotors are able to be subjected to surface temperature of 300 degrees Celsius in conventional rotor conditions where surface temperature is 400 degrees Celsius.
Shimano FREEZA Ice Technology
High-end grade XTR and DURA-ACE rotors employ Shimano Ice Technology FREEZA rotor with a triple layer aluminum fin, similar to Shimano ice technology rotors with heat dissipation paint.
In addition, it has excellent cooling performance that provides stable and high braking performance in various conditions.
