The MX5 is a multi-core processor with powerful modeling and FX technology and a 4-inch high-resolution touch display that allows you to create and edit tones in a smooth and intuitive manner with touch, swipe, drag and drop.
It has a variety of features including a gapless preset switching function that allows you to switch between reverbs and delay reverberations, a built-in looper that allows for a total of 20 minutes, loading custom impulse response (IR) files, and a unique original effect.
The MX5 offers a diverse library with 46 guitar and base amplifier models, 15 speaker cabinet models, including 10 mic emulations, 300 impulse responses, and 67 premium FX models. The HeadRush library is continually expanded with a periodic update program that adds new models and functions based on users requirements and feedback.
The MX5 hands-free editing mode allows you to adjust any parameters in the middle of a song without stopping playing. After selecting the parameters you want to adjust, you can fine-tune the settings using a built-in Expression Pedal or Foot Switch with a toe switch and tension adjustment.
The MX5 has an input/output terminal that can be flexibly adapted to any occasion. Includes 1/4" guitar input terminal, 1/4" TRS balanced connection with switchable amplifier/line output, 2 main output terminals, 1/8" MIDI input and output terminals (5PIN MIDI conversion cable), 1/4" stereo FX loop (Send/Return) TRS input and output terminals, 1/4" for external expression, pedal, and TRS input terminals for easy integration of your existing setup.
