Use and Maintenance of Iron Teapots
● Start using a new tetsukira.
Lightly rinse the inside of the tetsukar, add about 8 minutes of water, and then simmered 1 to 2 tbsp of tea leaves for about 20 minutes.
Rinse the inside with water, boil hot water and dispose two to three times before use.
Please remove the lid when heating. Prevents boiling water from spilling out.
Care after use
Ditch hot water while it is hot, preheat or lightly empty fir, and store the inside of the tetsubottle after drying.
Please make sure to transfer the hot water remaining in the tetsubottle to a pot, etc. and make sure that the inside of the tetsubottle is empty. (This may cause rust.) )
If you do not use it for a long time, please store it in a well-ventilated place with good water absorbing paper such as newspapers.
The tetsuka will rust if the water is left inside. Please make sure to open it.
