The Colour Box V2 inherits all the features of the V1 and includes new features such as an extended EQ control, a Hi/Lo switch for a larger and clean headroom, and a circuit that thru the Phantom power supply from the console to the XLR input.

HI/LO switch to switch headroom.
The Colour Box V2 is equipped with a new HI/LO switch that allows you to switch between the clean headroom. In LO mode, you can easily get pure, clean sound without breaking up, perfect for toning shaping without distortion sound. In HI mode, distortion is easy to obtain a wide range of sounds, such as overdriving, distortion, and fuzz

Shift knob to adjust EQ frequency band
The blue EQ section features three new Shift controls that interact with standard Treble, Midle, and Bass controls. This knob adjusts the frequency range of Treble, Midle and Bass controls. Shift knob has a center frequency of 10kHz for Treble, 1kHz for Middle, 1kHz for Basss, and Treble, Midle, Bass knobs control boost/cut between +/- 17dB.

Safety through phantom power circuit.
When connected to the output of the Colour Box V2 with the Phantom powered console, it is equipped with a thru circuit to safely send the Colour Box V2 XLR input. Also compatible with capacitor microphones that require power supply.
When connected with devices that do not support a phantom power supply, you cannot use a condenser microphone or other devices that require a power supply.

Compatible with DC 9V power supply.
The V2 has been changed to a standard DC 9V drive versus the V1 which was powered by DC18V. No special adapter required for easy power supply.

Red Color: Gain section control

MASTER Master Volume Control controls the volume of the entire unit.	PRE-VOL PRE-VOL controls the amount of gain on two internal gain stages. Similar to common "Drive" and "Gain" control operations, you can get sound like grit, distortion, and fuzz by increasing gain.	STEP STEP controls increase the gain of each preamp stage in five stages.Turn the STEP knob from left to right increases gain in order of +18dB, +23dB, +28dB, +33dB, +39dB.

Blue Color: EQ Section Control

Adopts a combo jack, switchable via INST/XLR switch.

The Colour Box V2 features a combo jack that supports both 1/4" phone input for instrument input and XLR input for microphone input.Switch the input terminals to match the source used with the INST/XLR switch located on the right side of the housing.

It also has a -20dB pad switch.This function only works in XLR input mode and is effective for adjusting the volume of the high output microphone
