The TC4051B is a multi-plexer that allows you to choose and mix analog and digital signals with an 8-channel configuration.
The digital signal of the control terminal turns the switch corresponding to each channel "ON".
You can also switch the logical oscillation (VDD-VSS) signal of the control signal but large amplitudes (VDD-VEE).
For example, VDD = 5 V, VSS = 0 V, VEE = -5 V, you can switch the signal between -5 V and 5 V from a logical circuit of a 5 V single power supply.
Each switch has low on resistance, so it can also be connected with low input impedance circuits.
