E26 Series "Casio Pair"

The actual car was appeared in July 1999, as a sleeping passenger car located on the further advanced train of "Hokkoto," and the train name was started from Ueno to Sapporo as "Casiopair".

Although it has been useful for many years as a luxurious sleeper train, the Hokkaido Shinkansen started on a regular basis in March 2016, and now it is operated as a dedicated train for the "Casiopea" and "Casiopea" (Cassiopea) Cruise."
