About Isolate

The three elements of speaker placement, focus, and isolation are critical for accurate monitoring. What you can do is the ISO-L8R speaker stand designed by IsoAcoustics.

Newtons third law describes that when one object acts on other objects, the reaction of the same size will always work.Of course, audio speakers are also influenced by this law. When the speaker cone is driven the air moves forward, while the support structure such as the enclosure moves with equal force backwards.

The ISO-L8R speaker stand is designed to absorb axis energy while resisting outside axis energy efficiently, isolate speakers from surfaces such as desktops, shelves, etc., and prevent transfer to speaker cabinet energy surroundings.By allowing the speaker to work in a free space, you can play the original sound.Delivers more precise and satisfying sound from mixing to listening.

Isolator

It provides efficient isolation by balancing the shape, capacity and durometer (hardness and density)The tapered opening and recessed end are combined with a supporting rod to resist forward, left, right, and vibration. As predicted by Newtons third law, the speaker enclosure attempts to move backwards when speaker cones move forward. Therefore, the enclosure and top of the stand move in the direction resonates with the sound source.

Speaker Stand Shape

Top and bottom elements provide torsional rigidity throughout the speaker stand. The rectangular shape makes it easy to understand when determining the front side of the stand.

Lower Element

The bottom element is the first part of this stand. The frame part creates a strong and secure base that holds the assembly in place.Shaped to allow the isolator to be inserted in the correct direction.Elastic over the opening maintains the optimal amount of mass.

Upper Element

The top element is the part that actually the speaker will sit on.The flange cup shape resists movement and slipping between the speaker and the stand while being squeezed, providing a suction cup like effect. It is especially important if you are setting an angle.

1. Adjust the height

2. Adjust the angle

3. Isolate from ground

4. Ensure your work space

Included and Setup

(ISO-L8R130, ISO-L8R155, ISO-L8R200)

The IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R speaker stand comes with 4 pipes of 2 lengths for determining the height and 2 height insert parts for adjusting the tilt angle. You can use these parts to assemble them according to your speaker and listening position.

Insert parts can be used to subtly adjust the tilt angle and set the height of two patterns.

■ The stand height when assembled with short pipes is about 8.0 cm on ISO-L8R130, about 9.2 cm for ISO-L8R155 and about 12.6 cm for ISO-L8R200.You can also use the insert parts to tilt to the best listening angle.

■ Stand height when assembled with long pipe is approximately 8 inches at ISO-L8R130, about 21.8 cm for ISO-L8R155 and about 22.8 cm for ISO-L8R200.You can also use the insert parts to tilt to the best listening angle.

About IsoAcoustics

IsoAcoustics has designed superior speaker stand products for professional and audio enthusiasts. The first model, ISO-L8R speaker stand provides excellent acoustic isolation and enhances the clarity of all speaker sounds, including studio monitors, home theater systems, and amplifiers.

Dave Morrison has been engaged in designing and building studio at the Canadian Broadcasting Association (CCBC), the Canadian Public Television/Radio Stations (CCBC), the design of an adjustable speaker stand.

Following comments: David Morrison

"Speaker performance is best when free from proper placement and mechanical interference.Foam padding and floor stand provide some isolation effect, but they are compromised. It is also difficult to make optimal adjustments and placement for todays studio environments.ISO-L8R speaker stand creates a complete fusion of ergonomics and acoustic science compared to other speaker stand systems."
