Takegawa Tensioner Arm is finely machined from super duralumin wood for extra thickness, increasing the strength of the arm body, and increasing the surface area of the pushrod.
This reduces rubber depression and breakage at the end of the push rod and greatly increases the life of the push rod.
The arm body has an oil hole to lubricate the working part.

■ Compare the normal tensioner arm and Takekawa Tensioner Arm
Normal tensioner arms are molded from wood, so there is little ground area on the push rod, and the rubber at the tip of the push rod recessed into the shape of the plate thickness.
In addition, if used for a long period of time with a high power engine, the normal tensioner arm may become heavily deformed, causing damage to the push rod head.
In this case, the cam chain does not have adequate tension and may cause engine trouble.
Takegawa Tensioner Arm is finely machined from super duralumin wood for extra thickness, increasing the strength of the arm body, and increasing the surface area of the pushrod.
This can not only strengthen the tensioner arm, but also reduce the rubber depression and breakage at the end of the push rod and greatly increase the life of the push rod.
In addition, the arm body has an oil hole to lubricate the oil to the moving parts.
If your cam chain tensioner push rod head is worn or damaged, please replace it with a genuine new part.
Please note that the hard reinforced push rod heads sold by other companies should not be used with the cam chain to withstand heavy loads.
