Description

L298N is a kind of high voltage, high current motor driver chip produced by ST company. As a package of 15 pins, this chip has high working voltage (maximum voltage 46V), large output current (3A maximum instantaneous current 2A) and 25W rated power. You can use two built-in H virgin high voltage and large current full bridge drivers to drive DC motors and stepping motors, relay coils, etc. Controlled using standard logic level signals, it has two enablable control ends. Allow or prohibit devices with logic power input without affecting the input signal. This allows the internal logic circuit part to operate at low voltage. Chip connects to external detection resistance to control circuit variation. When you drive the motor using the L298N chip, this chip can drive a stepper motor or a four-phase stepping motor, and two DC motors.
Description:
1 ST as a control chip, mo dule has properties such as powerful driving capabilities, low heat generation, and strong interference resistance.
2. This module can be used with built-in 78M05 for electricians via the drive power supply. Use external 5V logic power supply when using voltage stabilizing chip, drive voltage greater than 12V.
3.Using high capacity filter capacitors, this module can follow current to protect the diodes and increase reliability. This module is integrated with built-in 5V power supply. Onboard 5V logic power supply can be activated when driving voltage is 7V-35V. After power supply, do not input voltage into interface + 5V power supply
IN2 IN2 CONTROL OUT1 OUT2 WHEN ENA ENA EN1 ENABLE
IN4 IN4 CONTROL OUT3 OUT4 WHEN ENB ENABLE IN3
Application cases:
1. Drive stepping motor
After ENA ENB is activated, the connection of a common 4-line 2-phase electric motor drive is shown in the following diagram.
