■Brand Introduction

Moody Sounds pedals are handmade effectors produced by hand in small workshops. It starts with vintage sounds from the 60s and produces effects that are equipped with an array of experimental circuits.
Moody Sounds is the creative effector brand that covers everything from standard and stable models to experimental and unique sounds.

■Product description

Many experiments were conducted in the 1970s, Swedish progressive music scenes. "Trad gras & stenar", "Kaipa", "Peps Person Blodsband", "Samla Mammas Manna"... They use original Carlin Pedals to create a variety of sounds.
Cariln Ring Modulator is the most unknown pedal of the legendary vintage brand, Carlin Pedals.
Since the number is too small, most players will never see it. Only three original models were produced.
True analog ring modulator featuring sharp harmonics and strong textured sound. It can also be blended with two input signals to interaction. It is not only a regular ring modulator but also a whole new sound experiment.
The Moody Sounds Cariln Ring Modulator Clone is a ring modulator pedal that can be used in a variety of ways. The simplest way is the guitar input and amp out. Acts as a standard mono effect. Dirty and unique harmonics sound Rough, rugged ring modulator tone. With high sensitivity, you can change the tone with picking etc. The responsiveness is like a good fuzz pedal, but the sound is completely different.
You can also set the Boost Pedal in the front and input a strong signal to create natural compression sound. Only 1 Input, 1 Output, Mix A and Vol style is a traditional setup.
But Cariln Ring Modulator Clone is not the end. More experimental use. If another signal is input into the two inputs, the sound interacts and will produce a completely different sound that is combined. This pedal can be used to change the guitar tone infinitely.
If the modulation is too strong, simply drop the Mix A.
For example, output B and input B can be connected with a patch cable to make a different sound or through another effect to create even more weird sound.

How long is the clone?
The main circuit of the Moody Sounds Cariln Ring Modulator Clone uses the Carlin Ring Modulator circuitry developed in 1970. The original model has evolved into 3 knobs with 1 knob and built in buffering in two inputs and outputs. This allows the output to two amplifiers and the loss of treble due to impedance issues.
In addition, the effect of the early 70s is difficult to use in terms of maneuverability, so these are improved. For example, the original pedal has an input on the left side and no LED indicating effect ON. We have upgraded these hard-to-use points to meet modern standards and make the corresponding substrate pattern changes.

"Clone" is True Bypass
"Clone" has an input jack on the right side, like many effectors.
The "Clone" is equipped with an LED indicator that indicates the effects ON/OFF.
The "Clone" is powered by a center negative DC 9V adapter. (Battery operated. )
The "Clone" has three control knobs. (Original Vol only)
When "Clone" is turned on, the two output are buffered out.

Carlin Ring Modulator Clone is painted with a hammer light. The logo is a sticker decal on the metal plate and is screwed into the housing.
Carlin Ring Modulator Clone is handmade in Sweden.
