The Gitzo GS5513S Systematic Carbon Center Pole is a lightweight center pole that is integrated into the systematic tripod for even higher shooting and speedy height adjustments. This carbon rapid center pole is compatible with the Systematic Tripod 5 type (and the traditional 4 aluminum type).The "Rapid" center pole slides up and down freely, and the thumbscrew lock makes it easy and secure to lock and unlock heavy camera equipment.With a safety catch and when used in conjunction with the modern systematic tripod with safety button, the accessory will not come off accidentally even if you forget to tighten the lever on the tripod side. The GS5513S is the successor to the GS5512S and has been updated to the upper disc of the center pole and the hook on the bottom end.
