It can be mounted on most guitars: Stratocaster type, Telecaster type, Lespole type, SG, Electric acoustic guitar, End pin jack, etc.
However, it is not compatible with the following guitars:
● Specifications are limited on the following types of devices.
● The OUTPUT terminal is a stereo standard type (TRS standard type).
Only the L side (Tip side) signal is output.
● Not compatible with the following types of guitars:
The mounting jack part has no space for mounting the transmitter (diameter 0.7 inch (18.5 mm) and depth 0.2 inch (5 mm) cylindrical space).
Special electric wiring guitar.
- Some guitar with active pickup (*1)
- Yamaha Silent Guitar (*2)
(*1) Guitar active circuit, common TRS jack output wiring method is for use with Tip=Audio, Sleeve=Ground, and Ring for battery ground. In rare cases, there is a guitar with the Ring and Sleeve wired in the opposite direction, the active circuit of the guitar will not work properly.
(*2) Does not work due to electrical wiring specifications.
KATANA-AIR is a maximum output of 20 W when using batteries, and a maximum output of 30 W when AC adapter is used.
