Description

Tenma Kiriko: Temma Kiriko is an original brand cut glass (fact) created by Tenma Kobo RAU) and is an art craft. Tenma glass is said to have learned the laws of glass traders Kyubei by the Dutch during the Edo period, and then bring it to Osaka and began crafting glass at Tenma Miyama’s Gate, and there is a monument of "Where the origination of Osaka Glasses". It was named "Tenma Kiriko" with a passion for Tenma, a city of glass with a technique created by the founder Takeichi Urai. Characteristics of Tenma Kiriko: The Edokiriko and Satva Kiriko feature a sharp and regular pattern using a V-shaped blade, whereas the "Tenma Kiriko" is mainly made with a U-shaped blade. It is finished with no corners to fit in your hand, and all processes are done by hand without any chemical processing, and is done by hand with a process called hand polishing. The carved pattern on the bottom of the glass is cut to reflect the sides of the glass and when poured it gradually refracts from the bottom, it glows like a kaleidoscope, combining the art you see and the elements of the actual artwork.
