KSD9700 Bimetal Small Thermostat Thermostat Normally Closed Switch Off Type Temperature Switch
This is not a regular open type (NO).

When the temperature of the specification is reached, the internal bi-metal is heat expansion and contracted by the metal to open the electrical contacts (switch-off).

When the temperature is lowered to the specification, the electrical contact will return to closed (switch on).

This is a very convenient temperature switch that allows you to switch between the switch contacts without a power source.
