The projector tracks the usage time of the lamp and displays this information in the projectors menu system. Replace the lamp earlier if the following conditions
• Projected images begin to darken or deteriorate.
• Turn on the projector and a message will prompt you to replace the lamp.
• The projector lamp light flashes orange and the power light flashes blue.

Installation step 1: Replace projector lamp1. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. 2. Wait for at least 1 hour for the projector lamp to cool down. 3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws that are fixing the lamp cover. 4. Slide the lamp cover and lift it off. 5. Loosen the screws that fix the lamp to the projector. 6.Grab the raised part of the lamp and slowly pull the lamp out of the projector. 7.Insert the new lamp slowly into the projector. If it doesnt fit well, please make sure you are facing the right direction. 8.Push the lamp firmly and tighten the screws to fix it. 9. Put the lamp cover back and tighten the screws to fix it. |
Installation Step 2: Clean or replace the air filterYou need to clean or replace the air filter to prevent the projector from overheating due to ventilation interference. Clean the air filter 1. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. 2.Use a computer small vacuum cleaner or a super soft brush (such as a paint brush) to gently remove the dust. 3. Replace the air filter if the debris is difficult to remove or the air filter is damaged. Replace the air filter. 1. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. 2. Open the air filter cover carefully. Pull the air filter out of the projector. 3. Place the new air filter on the projector and press gently until it snaps into place. 4.Close the air filter cover. |
Installation step 3: Reset the lamp timer to zeroAfter replacing the projector lamp, you will need to reset the lamp timer to clear the lamp replacement message and track the lamp usage properly. 1.Turn on the projector 2. Press the menu button. 3. Select the Reset menu, and press Enter key. 4. Select Reset Lamp Time, and press Enter key. Prompts will be asking if you reset the lamp time. 5. Select "Yes" and press Enter key. 6. Press Menu or Esc to exit menu. Note: Please do not reset the lamp timer if you havent changed the lamp to avoid incorrect lamp usage information. |
