Description

The "Oshinki Book Case / Total Paulownia Box for storing 12 sheets" has been given an irregular sale with this fabric finish and the "period finish (yaku paulownia)" specifications are also available.

Paulownia box (paulownia wood) is lightweight and has less shrinkage. Corrosion resistant and insect repellent. It is highly resistant to burning, and has a high moisture retention effect (maintaining a constant humidity), making it suitable for storing important papers.

Paulownia boxes are made of cheap paulownia wood or plywood with a thin lid and bottom board, but these paulownia boxes are all made of 0.2 inch (6 mm) thick paulownia wood. (The inner board of the main body is 0.1 inch (3 mm) thick).

The specifications are made of an enamel type with a double layer on the side of the box, so it is durable and has a good seal and is less likely to be affected by the outside air.

~Note~

If it gets dented by drops or bruises, please add water to the recessed area and let it air dry. Small dents will recover almost to its original shape.

Natural wood with planks is sensitive to changes in humidity. Paulownia wood is especially sensitive because the material is soft.
When exposed to dry air the boards may warp. In winter, it is especially easy to warp when placed in a dry room with air conditioner.
Paulownia boxes have a side plate attached to the lid and bottom board, but the lid (bottom) may warp due to the soft material.
When making paulownia boxes, we use sufficiently dried paulownia wood and inspect the condition of the paulownia box when shipped from our store, but if it is too dry, there may be warping of the lid already arrived at your doorstep.
Please understand the characteristics of natural wood (paulownia wood).
