The Knipex 70 06 140 nippers can cut up to Ø 1.8mm hard wire (such as wire rope fiber) and soft wire up to Ø 4.0mm (copper wire) for a wide range of applications.Long blade is recommended for cutting cables.The blade has been carefully processed with high precision to cut even the finest stranded lines accurately, and the tip of the blade can be cut the same.This cutting blade shape is convenient for working in tight spaces, such as working in junction boxes or working with electronic components.
Sturdy and durable
Knipex nippers are forged from vanadium electrosteel and then cooled with oil after heating for added strength.In order to achieve long lasting accurate cutting, the blade is further used with high frequency current and cures to approximately 62 HRC.Chrome plated is an anti-rust treatment for outdoor use.Chrome plated makes this nipper easy to clean.
