This is an external analog modem with RS-232C connection (serial connection) known for its operating stability. Our RS-232C interface is tested to work. Equipped with a classic Conexant controller that is stable to operate. Data reception rate up to 56Kbps (theoretical value) and transmit up to 36Kbps (theoretical value). (*Transmission speed varies depending on the circuit conditions. Not compatible with V.23. This product can be used for fax transmission and farm banking on analog public lines using modem-related software. A wide range of PC with Windows can communicate using analog public lines. Combine the commercially available FAX server software and line modem to allow for simultaneous transmission and reception of fax using multiple wires. The LED on the top of the unit (POWER/DATA/OH) allows you to check the operating status when connected (off hook) and data transmission or reception. It comes with a modular cable that connects the phone line to the device (about 150cm) and a RS-232C cable (about 90cm) in length to the computer.
