The thickness of the mounting hardware is 2.0 inches (5 mm) on each side, and 0.4 inches (1 cm) on both sides, so if you install it inside the window frame you need to use the blind.

The balance (board that hides the head box) is a length of +0.4 inches (1 cm) (error ± 0.1 inches (0.3 cm) specified in width to hide even the mounting hardware.
