From Jazz Altos classic "Mayer", this is a popular model that every Jazz fan has been waiting for.
This is a reproduction of the earliest Mayer model "Mayer Bross" which is famous as a vintage mouthpiece. This is a reproduced model from the mold you can make.
The characteristic brass ring on the shank is made by Canon Ball Adalay to fix the shank crack. Not only looks good, it also increases the capacity of the bracelet and gives you a sense of power.

Jazz Alto is a music made by Mayer.

This model was called "Meyer Bros" which was developed in the early time of a factory in New York.
The model does not change significantly with the current mailer and shape but has slightly different details such as baffles, chambers, and rails.
The "Mayer Brs NY Model" faithfully reproduces its characters.
Many photos of Jazz fans know that the "Mayer Bross" used by Canon Ball Adalay has a metal ring to repair the shank crack.
Inspired by that, the shank of the "Mayer Brass/Unlacquer" is also inlaid in the same way.
This ring enhances the focus of the sound and gives you more capacity to put in the breath.
It achieves a rank above the mayer.

The JJ Babbits factory has been manufacturing for about half a century ago, and many molds inherited by the Mayer brother Otto Link, are kept cherishly even if damaged.
The first release of the high end mouthpiece "Conicor Series" which has been based on the mold of the manufacture which is popular as vintage mouthpiece nowadays.
The outer shape of the mouthpiece is the same as each model in the current model, but it uses a mold that was stored in the inner molding.
Furthermore, the hardness is adjusted by extending the vulcanization time during the production of hard rubber.
It also increases the inspection standards and takes a lot of time for the final finishing and inspection process.
The player in the development of this Connisser series is three of the American vigorous jazz musicians, Mike Smith, James Bente, and Mark Colby sparely decided last year.
The 2 models that are the first release of the Conicor Series are "MeyerBros.NY" and "OttoLink Early Babbit."

About Mayer

The history of "Meyer Mousepiece" originated in New York, USA.

The most popular "Mayer Brothers New York" model was made of quality hard rubber with a gentle dull sidewall and a rollover baffle tip.

It produces rich sound and is renowned for its fine finish.

After that, in the mid 1970s, the mouthpiece was made to work at Bubbitt company in Elkhart, Indiana, where the mouthpiece was produced today.

The sidewalls are straight (no dimpless) and the chamber shape has been changed, but the concept of sound is still herited.

Loved by the top artists in the world and has been producing several of the worlds highest jazz sounds.
