Forest Green Compressor (FGC) is a compression pedal designed by BJF to accommodate high-end guitars and bass.

Extremely low noise and high margin for overloads in all ranges, minimizing distortion and noise for a wide dynamic input range.

The FGC is equipped with a special tone control that allows you to fine-tune the compression sound to achieve transparent tones and effects. The compressor and sustainer can be switched between the compressor and it produces a long lasting lasting touch sensitive tone in SUSTAIN mode. The attack doesnt lose its sense of attack, so it matches Bruce players and works great on slide play.

In COMPRESSOR mode, you can also use FGC as a booster because you can adjust the overall volume.In SUSTAIN mode, you can adjust the level of the sustain part, not the overall volume control.

TONE

FGC tone controls are designed to fine tune the compression sound to create transparent tones and effects.Full counter-clockwise settings provide full range compression, a tight sound with a little less bottom end in the center position, and a clockwise full set will give you a slight amount of suppression on the upper treble.

COMPR.

Sets the amount of compression and sustainThe lower the setting limit the peak and the higher the setting, the higher the compression rate and the less touch response.The output will be greatly compressed at the maximum setting but will not lose clarity even in nearly infinite sustain conditions.The approximate position for this control is slightly below the center position (10 oclock).

COMPRESSOR/SUSTAIN SWITCH

Attack and decay time are precisely tuned internally to create fast attack and slow attenuation.When set to SUSTAIN, it holds the attack and amplifies the weak part of the attenuation and signal for easy dynamic touch and play.When set to COMPRESSOR, you can get standard compression.
