The KT2000 also has a built-in circuit breaker, protecting the winch and your equipment if a voltage change or short circuit should occur. How to choose a winch
Choose a winch model with a capacity that is at least 1.5 times the weight of the vehicle you plan to pull. This assumes a rolling wheeled vehicle, in good condition, on a hard, flat, level surface. If you plan to drag a non-rolling load, choose a winch with at least twice the weight capacity. This will ensure that you will always be able to move the load, and guarantees a long life for your winch.
