About Mayer

The history of "Meyer Mousepiece" originated in New York, USA.

The most popular "Mayer Brothers New York" model was made of quality hard rubber with a gentle dull sidewall and a rollover baffle tip.

It produces rich sound and is renowned for its fine finish.

After that, in the mid 1970s, the mouthpiece was made to work at Bubbitt company in Elkhart, Indiana, where the mouthpiece was produced today.

The sidewalls are straight (no dimpless) and the chamber shape has been changed, but the concept of sound is still herited.

Loved by the top artists in the world and has been producing several of the worlds highest jazz sounds.
