Tin is second only to expensive metals to gold and silver, which has a strong antibacterial effect and is not easy to oxidate. The water in the tin will not rot, and the liquor becomes mellow and has been used in alcohol and tea vessels since the ancient time. Nogaku tin is 100% pure. Other metals are typically added to give it a hardness, however Norse Tin does not contain any of them. 100% tin is soft and can be easily bent by hand depending on its shape and thickness. After use, wash with a soft sponge with a mild kitchen detergent. Use baking soda if the gloss becomes dull. However, do not use metal polish or baking soda on the inner gold foil part. Also, since the tin (100%) is soft, please do not rub it with a hard scrubber. Surface may be scratched. Do not place near fire as the melting point is low. Because it is made of metal, it is not microwave safe. Not dishwasher or dryer safe as it may lead to high temperatures.
