Xotic Wah XW-1 was based on Clyde McCoy Wah, the first time launched in the world.

faithfully reproduces the Italian Wow from 1967 to 1968 used by artists like Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Paige and Eric Clapton

The vocal sounds like human voice are unique to Italian Wow called Holy Grail Wah.

In addition, the XW-1 has the flexibility of 2-band EQ for users seeking a more personalized wow sound.

■EXTERNAL CONTROLS

BIAS CONTROL:
Bias control of the first transistor that is essential for wow sound. Turn the knob clockwise to highlight the bass effect. Reverse turning for smooth and clear wow sound.
The knob will generate noise, but it is not a malfunction.

WAH Q CONTROL:
This knob controls Q (filter peak). Adjusts filter effect tension

TREBLE & BASS CONTROL:
The 2-band EQ provides variable width of +/-15dB. Convenient function to accommodate a variety of playing styles and equipment.

ADJUSTABLE RUBBER STOPPER:
Located at the bottom of the pedal, this rubber bumper determines the variable range of the pedal.

ADJUSTABLE PEDAL TORSION:
Pedal torque can be adjusted by adjusting the nut on the right side of the pedal.

LED INDICATOR: LED lights up when pedal is on. The remaining battery is less than 50% and the LED will flash when you need to change the battery.

DC JACK:
When using an external power supply, please use a constant voltage 9VDC adapter. 2.1mm barrel plug, center negative When the effect is not in use, please unplug the input and the battery will not be consumed. To replace batteries, remove the 4 rubber feet of the bottom plate and remove the bottom plate.


■INTERNAL CONTROLS
