Where to use this product

All 8 ports on the TL-SG1008MP are compliant with Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE +) standard, which automatically detects and delivers the power needed for IEEE 802.3af/at compliant devices. Power is transmitted with data via a single Ethernet cable, so you can deploy AP, IP camera, and other devices such as IP phone in places without outlets etc.

Load Arrangement

The TL-SG1008MP has a priority feature to help protect the system when the power is overloaded. When all PoE + devices have a power consumption of over 126W, prioritizing between 8 PoE+ ports to block power from the lowest priority port at that time.

Port Priority

Priorities for each port (Port 1>Port 2>Port 3>Port 4>Port 5>Port 6>Port 7>Port 8):This function helps protect your system when power is overloaded.For example, when ports 1, 2, 4, and 7 use 30W respectively, (the maximum power per port is 30W and the system power is 126W total), when the device is inserted into port 3, it will automatically shut off the power supply to port 7 to protect the system.
