The Compressor has been updated to MKII which enables high dimensional compression that only EmpressEffects can achieve. The sound inspired by the famous Urei 1176 compressor from the studio recording, is more compact and has new features.
The input / gain reduction level LED meters, independent attack and release controls, parallel compression with MIX knobs, and external side chains, the controls that were only found on high-end studio compressors such as high-end compressors. The MKII also features a "Tilt" tone EQ control and an adjustable side-chain high-pass filter on the comp detection circuit.
Compared to the compressor pedals that are too large for traditional coloring and sound changes, this product achieves an overwhelming high level of sound makeup.
