PANS Snap Filter Streets:
It all started with a short film that was created by the PANs team on Apple.
A short movie called "Winter Homework" taken using the iPhone 13 Pro series in the early 2022 was featured on Apples Newsroom, but before shooting it had to control exposure using an ND filter for an iPhone non-adjustable aperture. We need 24 fps to create a movie-like experience, but the filter system on the market didnt fit iPhone smartphones.Thats why the PANS team developed its own and first Snap Filter. It took about 8 months to test upgrades. We realized that this product will provide more fun than you expected, for video and photography on your phone.
Why not shoot with digital filters?
The digital filter on the smartphone app does not directly imitate the physical filter effect. For example, ND filters can be dimming at the physical level, but the motion range of motion that a smartphone CMOS can record is limited and cannot be duplicated.Soft filters and effect filters such as black mist, streak or cross star have different influence on medium light, highlight and low light areas, so it is still impossible to perform real time tracking calculations on your smartphone.
