■Brand Introduction

Tiny Pedals, big sound!

Henretta Engineering sold the first guitar effect pedal, Choad Blaster in the autumn of 2009.

Since 2011, we have made a very small "no-knobber" line with no knobbers.

Henretta Engineering pedals are handmade in the USA.

Builder Kevin Henretta has been dedicated to guitar equipment since their teenagers and has been repeating various trials and errors for decades.

In 2008, Kevin starts looking for a great distortion pedal that fits your vintage amp.

But we couldnt find distortion at the level you are looking for.

The trade-off of dynamics and sustain is too smooth for reeds, too dark in the rhythm or vice versa.

Thats why Kevin began producing effectors with years of custom electronics experience.

And the Choad Blaster is complete.

The circuit incorporates a unique gain structure that came from mild overdrives to heavy distortion, with only two knobs.

The knob adjusts the distortion from low end to low mid and high mid crunches.

It was very popular when selling that pedal, and it was rated as a pedal between fuzz and distortion, especially open sound among many distortion systems.

In addition, Kevin has been able to design more effectors and finally completed the very small "no-knobber" line.

■Product description

The Choad Blaster allows you to create a wide range of distortions from overdrive to distortion and fuzz with two unique combinations of EQ controls.

When playing a rhythm guitar with a vintage style single coil, you can add a bit of bite, change the settings to get fuzzy reed sound and a non-colored boost sound. The possibilities are endless!

The foot switch can be turned on and off.

LED indicator lights up when effect is ON, circuit is completely removed from the signal when effect is OFF(True bypass).

The Choad Blaster will power on when battery powered and plugged into the input or if the power supply is connected by the adapter driver.

The red knob is a low-mid gain.

In this bandband, a mild and fuzzy character with distortion is stronger as you raise the knob.

The yellow knob is the gain of the upper mid.

This bands distortion gives you a classic British style crunch.

The blue knob turns right to the high range or turn left to increase the low range. Turn the red and yellow knob to the left at 12 oclock, and the Choad Blaster becomes a clear signal booster.
(Due to the output of the pickup, some adjustments may be required. )

Green knob adjusts output voluminum.

You can also turn the internal trimmer to the right for more compression and fuzzy feel.

Higher this trimmer than 3 oclock, you will get a classic fuzz sound.
