Precautions for case assembly
This kit is equipped with a Ti-BB PCM2704. This is a case kit for USB DAC/DDC DIY Kit.
Please note that the position of the hole or board size of the panel, etc. may not match with other kits.
Upgraded Parts Set for USB DAC Kit with PCM2704: If the included TOSLINK module (J1) is installed on the board, please remove the screw holes for fixing the module parts with a nipper, etc.
Please note that this will cause physical interference if not cut out.
The body ground will not be removed if you just assemble it as is, so there may be some noise.
If this happens, please assemble it by making sure that the ground is removed from the kit itself during assembly.
Example 1: Lightly sanding the panel side of the USB terminal and the panel contact.
Example 2: The lead wire is welded to the GND of the DC jack to contact the screw hole in the case.
This is not a bolt-on kit for perfect reason, so some modification may be required during assembly.
In addition, depending on the position of mounting the parts during assembly, the board may wobbly even if the screws are tightened.
Please assemble it according to the situation.
If you have a DIY kit that you have previously assembled, please make sure that there are no interferences on each part.
There may be burrs when drilling inside the hole of the panel.
Of course, it is also an appearance inspection, so it does not affect the surface or appearance, so it is OK to install it as is, but if you are concerned about it, please lightly sand it with a sand.
When inserting the substrate into the groove of the case, please be sure that the lead and electrical connections are not touched before inserting the substrate.
