●This lens is equipped with electronic contacts to achieve telecommunication between the lens and the body. Combined with the body of the Canon EOS R system, it supports Exif information, in-body shake correction (3-axis )*2 as well as three focus assist functions (magnified display, peeking, and focus guide). The lens consists of two of 8 elements in 6 groups with a double-sided aspherical lens. Compact in size, but with a full-size 40mm lens, this lens achieves an incredible large aperture of F1.2.
