Tire maintenance "air pressure"

How to inspect tire pressure?

Tires are an important part of the car ride.Daily tire maintenance.

Use an air gauge when measuring tire pressure.

Check air pressure

The specified air pressure of the tire is written on the opening part of the drivers seat door, etc. with a sticker as shown in the picture.

The display is for the original tire attached.

If the size is different from the indicated on flat tires or aftermarket wheels, please fill the specified air pressure according to the respective size.

Check valve and remove cap

The tire air (air) is inserted from the part (valve) as shown in the picture.Measure the air pressure from the valve part where the air is inserted.

First, unscrew the valve cap to the right.

Air will not leak if you remove the valve cap (excluding air leakage due to degradation of the valve core).

Measure air pressure

Measure the base of the air gauge firmly against the valve.

If you apply it lightly to the valve core will push the air out.

Measurement completed

Your measurement is complete.Add air if necessary.

The photo is 180 kPa (1.8 kgf/cm2).To reset the measured value, press the reset button on the right hand index finger in the picture. The reset button can also be used when adjusting the air (decompression).
