The MXR CSP042 Hybrid Fuzzz is a hybrid fuzz pedal that combines the warm sound of a germanium transistor, the rattling high gain sound of a silicone transistor, and two sounds representing the Fuzz Face of yesteryear.
By combining the transistor of the heart of the fuz, you will not only get the musical sound and loss of guitarists looking for, but it is less likely to be affected by temperature than full germanium fuzzz.
With the ability to control the volume of the guitar on the Fuzz Face transferred to the organic clean that is unique to vintage fuzz to a fuzzy high gain.
