What is Atmega32u4?

High Performance Low Power Consumption 8-bit AVR Micro Controller

The Atmega32u4 is one of the kind called the Microchip (Atmel) AVR microcontroller used for Arduino Leonardo, Arduino Micro, Pro Micro, etc.

The ATmega32U4 chip on this board has a pre-programmed bootloader that allows you to upload new codes without the use of an external hardware programer.Operating at 5V/16MHz, the maxim voltage allowed by the RAW pin is recommended for 9V, 6-7V input.

USB Type-C Port

USB Type-C and USB-C are one of the smaller 24-pin connector standards for USB devices and cables. The USB Type-C connector is 24-pin and is similar to Apple lightning and the size is similar to the USB Micro B connector, and the port is 8.4 x 2.6 mm.4 pairs of power and ground pins, 2 pairs of non-SuperSpeed data buses (but only 1 pair is used), 4 pairs of SuperSpeed enabled data buses, 2 side band pins, and 2 configig pins for cable direction detection. In addition, one BMC configuration data channel and VCONN +5V power for active cables.

Reinforced USB Type-C port provides stable programming operation and improved operational efficiency.

Programmable via the USB Type C charging cable on your smartphone.

TypeType

Note:

1. When running with Arduino IDE, please select LEONARDO: Tools → Board → Arduino Leonardo

2, USB Type C cable is required to connect to computer.(Type C cable not included)

3. Header is not soldered to the board.Need to solder by yourself.

4, Make sure the input voltage is less than 9V DC.Otherwise, the board may be destroyed. If you want to supply unadjusted power to the board, please always connect to the "RAW" pins.

5. For Arduino IDE download is available for Arduino official website.
