Developed in 2008 by SilverStone in 2008, the original PP05 cable set was a revolutionary product for every small form factor computing enthusiast. In addition to the shorter type of smaller cases such as the predecessor, PP03 (2005), we introduced an idea about the cable set that users can use for diverse upgrades. SilverStones commitment to using the same power connector ensures that the PP05 purchased in 2008 will still be fully usable in 2013 and later. To further improve this convenient cable set, SilverStone developed the PP05-E as the next evolution of power cables for small form factors. To improve compatibility and installation convenience, the PP05-E is constructed with a larger flexible cable that takes into account for a more sharp angle bend than conventional cables. This eliminates component interference issues that are common to small form factor configurations. To ensure more valuable space, PP05-E cables are designed with flat array design for unprecedented flexibility. As previously, the PP05-E is manufactured to fit SilverStone modular PSUs, so there are additional convenient expansion cables and connectors to help enthusiasts use as little cables as possible (dual PCI-E connector cables) or connect to more common slim optical drives (mini-SATA)
