Blooms in Bamboo Chasen

Our chasen is made from natural bamboo and is affected by natural wear and tear. Healthy matcha ensures that your high quality Japanese matcha is optimised with the natural infused and essence of your tea in each bowl.When you first open the new chasen chasen, you will notice that the wick of the chasen is tight. But when you start using it, the core will loosen and strengthen the stirring process. This is called "blooming". This is normal and regular. String will become straighter and longer with long time use.

Clean your chasen before and after each use

Clean the chasen before first use. This removes all impurities that may occur during packing and transportation and loosening the core. To clean chasen, use one of the following options:1.
