In order to respond to the 4K and 8K, Kenko has been rethought of filters from the ground up to 60 years ago.
Conventional filter frame puts stress on the glass itself due to the pressure of the ring that secures the glass and causing distortion to the glass and a little bit of flatness.
Thats why Kenko has developed a new floating frame system. By securing the glass with a special male bumper instead of a fixing ring, the load and pressure on the glass is as close as zero as possible and brings out the true portability of the lens.
Reduces the burden on the glass and makes the image quality close to Zero. Then aim for the image of truth, "Magnification = X". With the desire of pursuing two, we named the "ZX... Zekross" filters using this floating frame system.

This is a new generation of ZX "Zekross" filter that allows light to enter in.

The ZX SLIM is a slim type developed to fit small aperture lenses such as mirrorless cameras. A part of the high-strength duralumin is used to reduce the thickness of the filter frame but increase strength. Resists distortion under impact and protects glass from external pressure and maintains glass flatness
