In 1996-97, the shape of the piston for STD/ULTRA85/88cc has been changed to the cylinder head due to the clamping angle of the valve. If the old bore up piston is installed with the current STD/ULTRAs square head (engraved on the fin), the valve and piston will come into contact with the current (new) piston. The thickness of the piston ring of the old and current products is different.
