This is a new type of drum head that utilizes the brightness of the plastic head and the calm sound features of both the genuine leather head.
Creation of an even stretch film
Plastic film drum heads are also commonly known for their original nature of the film material and their elasticity may vary in vertical and horizontal directions. LC series uses "annealed film" which has more uniform properties in all directions.
Annealed film is heat treated to reduce the residual stress balance remaining when the resin is cold and hardened, resulting in a more purest membrane vibration due to the same stretch in any direction.
Natural texture like genuine leather
The PE-250C has undergone a special paint process that is different from the typical coating head.
Unlike conventional coatings that apply particles, the expert coat uses in-house paint to create a porous finish on the painted surface without a hard texture, and a slightly wet texture is characterized by a natural texture that resembles the surface of the leather.
