We recommend this filter to those who are looking for powerful performance.Using this special filter improves intake efficiency and increases power.
Using a superior filter can extend engine life.
Our elbow and angled models have been developed to support vehicles in which no space is provided around the carburetor.
This air filter is recommended for normal carburetors.This will alter the intake efficiency. For that reason, it will be necessary to adjust the carburetor.
During operation in rainy weather, moisture may get into the filter, and the carburetor tuning may be altered.
If the filter bore size is a few millimeters (1 millimeter is approximately 0.04 inches) smaller than the bore size of the vehicle’s carburetor, it may be somewhat tight when inserted, but it can be installed by pushing it in.
If long rear shocks have been installed, the filter may get in the way of the body.

•Regarding Emissions Regulation-Compliant Models From 2000 Onward:
We do not recommend installing parts such as performance air filters in models that are compliant with Japanese emissions regulations, as they may have lean-burn engines that cannot be adjusted to accommodate said parts.

•Regarding Fuel Injection Motorcycles:
Do not install parts such as performance air filters or air funnels in any fuel injection motorcycle, as doing so would cause the motorcycle’s fuel regulation system to malfunction.
Cases in which a device that would enable fuel regulation (KITACO I-MAP Fuel Injection Controller) can be installed and set up are excluded.
