During 1996-97, the shape of the STD/ULTRA85/88cc piston has been changed due to the angle of the valve clamp.
If the old bore up piston is installed with the current STD/ULTRAs square head (engraved on the fin), the valve and piston will come into contact with the current (new) piston.
The thickness of the piston ring of the old and current products is different. (Unit: mm)
Current product 75cc: 1.0(A)-1.0(B)-2.0(C) 3-link link
Current product 85/88/104/108cc: 0.8(A)-0.8(B)-1.5(C) 3-link links.
Old product 85/88cc: 1.0(A)-1.0(B)-2.0(C) 3-link link
Formerly product 85/88cc: 1.0(A): -2.0(C) 2 links
Old product 117cc: 0.8(A)-0.8(B)-1.5(C) 3-link link
Current 124cc: 0.8(A)-0.8(B)-1.5(C) 3-link link
The bore up piston ring for 4-stroke cars is made of a thin ring thickness while maintaining a good balance of seal, abrasion resistance, and reduced friction loss.
Parts of the bore up kit have been modified at any time, such as shape changes and dimension changes. If you need repair parts for overhauling, please check the piston before purchasing.
Please make sure to check the displacement of the piston ring, and piston pin before making your purchase.
