HID ballasts are AC and DC types. AC type (this product type) is a digital ballast equipped with a DC-AC converter that converts the DC current of your car battery to AC current. The DC type is the direct current of the battery, and the burner has a shorter life span compared to AC type (type of this product). Furthermore, the AC type has less flicker than DC types.
Please note: Negative control vehicles reverse the positive-minus of the ballast.
