This fuzz pedal is based on the harmonic percolator of the interfax created in the 1970s.
The harmonic percolator is a simple but attractive circuit. The tone changes by changing the parts so it is just the highlight of the builders arm.
The Utility Perkolator uses a Russian germanium transistor and features a filter to filter out ultra-high range.
Compare to the "Correct Vintage Circuit" Harmonic Percolator MKII which is made by Fredric Effects, resulting in a higher gain and lower noise.
You can create even more high gain sound from the classic harmonic percolator sound.
It also features a 3-mode clipping switch, similar to the Harmonic Percolator MKII, allowing you to create a wider range of sound than the original model.
Knob control instead of slider, ON/OFF display LED or DC
