In 2003, Mimo Itoarashi designed the "Star Clock" outside the Sapporo Station Southern Exterior, and he also designed a station clock on the eastern and western concourse of Sapporo Station. This station clock is double sided (one side/white, one side/black) with all numbers from half to bottom for easy viewing. The design of this station watch was created to be a personal watch. The dial design is beautiful and easy to read with original numbers that are suitable for the station clock, and the watch frame is made of aluminum sand-casting/cutting process, which minimizes the distance between the dial and the glass and is the ultimate basic watch design.
