『ILBISONTE(イルビゾンテ)』は、1970年にフィレンツェにて、ワニー·ディ·フィリッポと妻のナディアによって設立されました。ワニーは警官や車のパーツ販売を経験しながら、パリのアートスクールの通信講座にてアートを学んだ後、妻の親戚のバッグ工場で技術を学び、職人技術の詰まったバッグに、ワニーらしいアーティスティックな一面を取り入れ、ビゾンテ(バッファロー)の持つ力強いイメージに魅せられた、バッファローのマークを製品に印す事にしました。
