The TPA3255 is a high performance Class D power amplifier with D-class efficiency and truly high end sound quality.
This device features a highly integrated feedback design and unique high speed gate driver error correction (PurePathUltra HD). This technology allows the device to achieve perfect sound quality while maintaining ultra-low distortion throughout the audio band.
This device works in AD modes with up to two 315W/4R loads and 10% THD with two 150W (non-clip power)/8R loads and has two VRMS analog input interfaces that support high-performance DAC.
In addition to excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 also combines two major advantages of high power efficiency and ultra-low power idle loss (less than 2.5W). This can be accomplished with 85mR MOSFET and optimized gate driver format. This scheme can significantly reduce idle loss compared to traditional discrete mounting methods.
