●AES/EBU is a professional and commercial digital audio transmission standard for recording studios, concert halls, TV stations, etc. It features two channels (stereo) signals in one piece, and the connector uses a 3-pin XLR (canon) connector for balance transfer, and the impedance feature is set strictly to 110 ohms. Because it is balanced transfer, it is less likely to get noise even when you crawl the cable at a long distance of about 98.4 ft (300 m).
